How Leedsware is made

Factory shop

Our factory shop sells slightly imperfect pieces from our whole range at much reduced prices.   Delivery of goods to all destinations in the UK and overseas can also be arranged.   All major credit cards are accepted.

As we are a relatively small pottery, visitors have the interesting experience of touring the whole of our premises and seeing Creamware at every stage of production, with potters who explain and demonstrate as they go about their daily work.

Opening times

• Monday to Thursday: 8 am - 4 pm
• Friday: 8 am - 2.30 pm
• Saturday: 10 am - 2 pm (April to September - other Saturdays by prior arrangement)

Like other potteries in Stoke-on-Trent we close for traditional holiday periods at Easter, in late June/early July and at the end of August.   If you wish to visit us at these times of year, please check opening times in advance to avoid disappointment.

Directions

• By road: Exit M6 at Junction 15.   Follow A500, then A50, then local signs.   Car parking on site.
• By rail: Regular trains from London, Birmingham, Manchester to Stoke-on-Trent.   Frequent bus services to Longton from the railway station.

Further information for visitors

• Coach parties are welcome.   We have ample parking on site and offer driver hospitality.
• Both shop and factory are on the ground floor, although there are some single steps.   Staff will make every effort to assist disabled visitors.
• Toilet facilities are available (sorry, not suitable for wheelchairs).
